Hello, we are riding in the Bike 4 Cancer London to Brighton bike ride - in memory of my dad who lost his battle with cancer a few years ago.
We're trying to build a peloton of 100 riders together for the big day (Sunday 6 September 2015). We have recruited about 25 friends so far which is great... would you like to join us on the day? If so, please get in touch - you would be very welcome to join us!
We plan to set off from Clapham Common (London) at 08:30 am on Sunday morning. The lunch stop is at 30 miles and then we'll have a massive party on the beach after the ride in Brighton!
It costs £40 to enter which includes a free buffet lunch, finisher's medal, mobile mechanics, water stations and entry into the beach party after the ride. It's going to be epic!
The 58 mile route starts on Clapham Common and travels through Mitcham, Carshalton, Chipstead, Banstead and Haywards Heath. Riders will have to climb the infamous Ditchling Beacon (814 feet above sea level) before a long descent into Brighton. The finish line is in front of Brighton Pier!

There is also a video from last year's ride which is good fun and gives a feel for the ride itself!
