I´m heading south from Santa Cruz in the lowlands of Boliva towards Ushuaia starting by mid July 2023. I want to combine cycling and social encounters with flexibility on this tour. My personal highlight will be the Salar de Uyuni and the laguna trial towards San Pedro de Atacama and from there heading south. I´m very fascinated by the Andean cultures therefore prefer to cycle remote areas and not on a strict schedule and mileage.
I do occasionally wild camping with but prefer guest houses or hotels and always appreciate local food. I´m 55 years old and have travelled quite some areas in South America already but never by bike.
