Hi fellow bikers!
COVID allowing, I am planning to tackle the Pamir Highway starting in August 2022.
The initial plan is to start in Bukhara, UZ and then cross over to Tajikistan and follow the Pamir highway and Wakhan corridor rejoining the Pamir highway and heading north to Osh in Kyrgyzstan.
From what I could gather, the borders were open and it was relatively hassle free for cyclists to cross.
My plan is to ship the bike back to Europe in Osh or sell it and continue on to southeast Asia without the bike.
At this point I am just trying to gather as much information as possible so I can better plan this trip. Also looking forward to road companions for some part of the way!
