In order to encourage the use of bicycles, which is an environment-friendly, healthy means of transportation in today's conditions, TCDD TAŞIMACILIK A.Ş. bicycle transportation rules and application principles that will be accepted to carry with passengers in urban and intercity trains have been rearranged.

According to this;

Commuter and Marmaray (domestic istanbul) trains;

Except for Sundays and national holidays, except for the busy hours (peak hours) 07.00-09.00 to 16.00-20.00, bicycles will be accepted on trains and small hand baggage will be carried without any additional charge for transportation.

Trains will never be accepted for bicycles if passengers are busy.

Passengers will be allowed to carry bikes during the day on non-crowded Sundays and National Holidays.

Bicycles must be accepted in all wagons and, if any, in the spaces or intermediate spaces reserved for carriage, so as not to hinder the passage of passengers.

Only one bicycle is allowed per passenger.

The owner of the bicycle is responsible for all kinds of damages and damages caused to them and / or other passengers in elevators, escalators, trains and descents.

In the regions where there is a turnstile, bicycle passes will be made from handicapped tourniquets.

Loading, preserving and unloading of bicycles on the train will be performed by the owner.

The owner of the bicycle is responsible for all kinds of damages to TCDD TRANSPORT INC., Themselves and / or other passengers.

In yht (high speed trains);

Folding bicycles that can fit in the compartment reserved for hand luggage at YHTs are accepted as small hand luggage alongside passengers and are carried free of charge with the passenger.

It is strictly forbidden to carry bicycles that cannot be folded in the HHT.

Outline and Regional Trains;

Only trains with vans or vans in the train organization can be carried free of charge, which can be considered as small hand luggage alongside passengers.

On non-vans trains, foldable bicycles that can fit in the luggage compartment are carried free of charge, which will be considered as small hand luggage alongside passengers.

It is strictly forbidden to carry bicycles that cannot be folded on these trains.

Only one bicycle is allowed per passenger.

In the case of trains with van or van section in the train organization, the wheels and pedals must be removed and the size reduced by the passenger in cases where it is not possible to fit the folded bicycles in the open state.

On all trains, the loading, unloading, storage of the bikes on the train shall be ensured to be safe and not disturb the passengers and prevent the passage of passengers.

Bicycle owners are liable for any and all damages caused to them and / or other passengers.

TCDD TRANSPORTATION INC. reserves the right to change terms and conditions of carriage of bicycles on trains.
