Looking for companion and trail

Hello!

I am an international graduate student from Ukraine. I would like to cycle (self-supporting on gravel bike) during winter vacation (December 25-January 10 ) in US in warm place close to nature. I will be very grateful for any suggestions. I am quite experienced in self-supporting riding.

Hey Roman, just a few questions, how long would your ride last (and in which winter months), what type of nature do you prefer, and what types of self-supporting riding tours have you done? I would be very interested in your response.

Thanks a bunch, Ethan

Hi, Ethan! I have vacations

Hi, Ethan! I have vacations between 25 of December and 10 of January, so I would like to ride 7-10 days far from big cities and highways or any crowd car roads if it is possible. I usually take my tent, food and gas stoves for few days and then buy some food on the way. I prefer not fast ride, just to see landscapes and enjoy the ride.

warm place

Roman, warm places are easy. Anywhere in the deep South.

Close to nature you can find in the Big Bend area of south Texas. That is south of hwy 90 and Marathon, Texas. There is a LOT to see and do. For off road exploration, Big Bend State Park will give those gravel tires a workout. For the weirdess hostel anywhere, check out La Loma del Chivo in Marathon. For a mystery, check out the Marfa Lights. For a scenic and interesting ride along the Rio Grande, hwy 170. Inquire about a warm spring on the Rio. Much, much more.
