Does someone know where I can get panniers in Hanoi. I'm not looking for insane quality, just some normal panniers.

Google or Lonely Planet Thorntree "On your bike" or the Vietnam page; either may have the answer if you haven't already tried. Or make a drawing and take it to a back-street cobbler / tailor. You may also be able to adapt some cheap bags from a market, I did something similar in Saigon. Good luck..
They are not the easiest things to find in Vietnam to be honest. This place has these. They are made in Vietnam so are pretty cheap. Only about $22. The quality is not the best and they are not waterproof. But they should do for a while

There may be other places in Hanoi but I live in Ho Chi Minh City so I'm not really sure. There is this place in Ho Chi Minh which has a bigger range. They can deliver to Hanoi in a couple of days so that may be an option if you are in town for a while longer. The guy speaks English so you can call and discuss.

wir sind auch gerade im Norden VNs unterwegs und waren vor zwei Wochen im Fahrradladen von Guim Valls Ternel, einem warmshower member. Leider schaffe ich es grade nicht, dir den link zu senden. Du findest ihn aber auf der Karte direkt am Westendsee, im Nordwesten. Er kann dir vielleicht weiterhelfen
Was hast du dann vor?
Wir waren von Ha Noi aus in Hai Phong, am Ba Be Lake und Lake Nui Coc und sind jetzt auf drm Weg in den Norden nach Ha Giang. Später gehts durch Laos und Kambodia am Mekong entlang und dann im Frühjahr wieder hoch nach Ha Noi.
Hast du Erfahrung mit dem Transport von Rädern in Bussen??
